hello, and welcome ! we are erin and mike, two lifelong animal guardians, pet lovers, and curious travelers.
in 2013, erin spent too much $$ on plane tickets to hong kong. we got the bug and prioritized international travel.
our grad school budget (+erin’s fear of flying!) made long-haul travel unattainable for a long time. still we found fun ways to explore, like riding amtrak through the hollers of west virginia and road tripping wisconsin’s cheese country.
a decade later, pandemic lockdowns coincided with the declining health of our beloved rescue pup, fat dog. neither of us felt much like going anywhere.
in 2022 + 2023, by combining remote work and pet-sitting, we’ve fit in a lifetime’s worth of travel. we road tripped, went on writing retreats, and traveled by plane, car, boat, train, and dogsled across three continents.

just what is a travel concierge?
in addition to being a word that is annoying to spell, it means a person who helps you out with planning, booking, and implementing travel plans.
that can be anything -- from finding an affordable flight, troubleshooting ground transportation and transfers, and piecing together multiple destinations -- to making reservations, crafting daily itineraries, scheduling, and finding you the best flat white within walking distance.
You can (and should!) do both! we encourage you to explore all potential avenues so you can have the best trip possible.
